Privacy policy
Last updated October 15, 2026
This policy explains what information CANvenience (“we”, “us”) collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple: we only ask for what we need to provide curb and return service.
Information we collect
- Signup and service details: your name, email, phone number, service address, trash and recycling collection days, where your cans are kept, number of cans, gate or access instructions (including gate codes, if you provide them), bin cleaning interest, and any special instructions.
- Waitlist: your name, email and ZIP code if you ask to be notified when we reach your area.
- Messages: your name, email and anything you write when you contact us.
- Payment information: payments are handled by Square on Square’s own checkout page. We do not see or store your full card number. Square shares with us what we need to manage your subscription, such as your name, email and payment status.
- Basic technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records limited technical information (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to keep the site running and secure. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To set up and provide your service, including scheduling curb and return visits around your collection days and reaching your cans.
- To bill your subscription and any add-ons you request, such as additional cans or bin cleaning.
- To contact you about your service, schedule changes, cleanings, weather delays or questions you send us.
- To let waitlist members know when we expand to their area.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed:
- Square processes payments and manages subscriptions.
- Resend delivers the emails this website sends to us when you sign up, join the waitlist or send a message.
- Vercel hosts this website.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our customers, team or the public.
Gate codes and access instructions
We treat gate codes and access instructions as confidential. They are used only by the people providing your service, and only to reach your cans. You can change or remove them at any time by contacting us.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you are a customer and for as long as reasonably needed afterward for billing, records and legal purposes. Waitlist and message information is kept until it is no longer needed. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop receiving non-essential messages, by contacting us at Dreewoah1234@gmail.com. Canceling your subscription is handled as described in our FAQ.
Security
We use reputable providers and take reasonable steps to protect your information. No website or email system is completely secure, so please contact us right away if you think your information has been misused.
Children
Our service is for households and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
